3 podcasts to hit the subscribe button on now

Working in the world of editorial and digital and as a self-confessed lover of Instagram, I am forever consuming content, and to be rather frank, it’s starting to drag. As much as I love a good visual feast, I sometimes feel like I am scrolling faster than the speed of light, forgetting to read the captions on the ‘gram or flicking through a magazine without actually taking the time to inhale the articles.

Say hello to my best friend… podcasts.

Whilst Instagram and the street style perfection on Pinterest can at times bog me down, Podcasts lift me up and my morning walk to work is enriched on the daily thanks to my growing list of my UK-based podcast faves…

The High Low

the high low podcast

This weekly pop-culture/news podcast hosted by journalists, Pandora Sykes and Dolly Alderton, is my favourite way to get the latest lowdown on current affairs. The witty views of this fabulous UK double act are a great mix of politics and trivia and gets me to work with a sprinkle of intelligence and joy.

Happy place

Happy things, happy chats and happy thoughts, all in one place and presented by one of my icons, Fearne Cotton. This is a podcast that truly makes you feel good and features interviews with the likes of Dawn French, Paloma Faith and Alexandra Shulman. Put the kettle on and find your happy place, you’re in for a treat.

Keeping it Candid

Sophie Milner and Millie Cotton present a weekly podcast chatting all things pop culture and current events with a millennial edge. Their frank discussions on men, Instagram and how much influencers earn are insightful, funny and smart. Go download!
